SAVE Austria Activities
Austria is the springboard of the global SAVE initiative. The first global SAVE conference was held at Palais Schönburg in Vienna in November 2008. Women without Borders will hold the next international SAVE conference in Vienna in March 2010, to coincide with the International Women’s Day.
“This is us!” is a 16-minute long film documentary presenting the voices of young Muslim women and men in Vienna. How do they live and think; what are their wishes, setbacks, and obstacles; how do they manage the delicate balancing act between religion, tradition, and modernity?
